Consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon

Dr Trevor Kwok is a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon who has devoted several years to serving the community of the Riverina.

After qualifying from the University of Sydney, Dr Kwok completed his formal training in vascular surgery in Sydney and Adelaide. He then moved to London to undertake clinical and academic fellowships in vascular, endovascular and complex aortic surgery at St Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals and Imperial College London. While in Europe, he also gained further specialist endovascular experience at the renowned University Hospital in Leipzig, Germany.

In his years in the Riverina, Dr Kwok has been instrumental in efforts to develop the local vascular service, and has increased the range of treatments available in the region, particularly in relation to endovascular and hybrid vascular procedures. He continues work to improve the reach and effectiveness of the local High Risk Foot Service. He is actively involved in the teaching and research programmes for medical undergraduates and postgraduates in Wagga Wagga, as well as supervision of surgical trainees.

Dr Kwok is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery and a member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery. He is always delighted to be contacted by general practitioners and specialist colleagues for impromptu discussion of challenging cases.
